Mariners Only

Mariner friends.
What a ride these last few weeks.
Special thanks to all the "worker bees" in the corps...the ones who hosted guests, opened their homes for parties, incredible food, and places for the wayworn to crash.
I was personally impressed by the smooth operation of the Mariners on stand, and the shows on Block Island. I'm proud to be associated with you all.
Mr. Stalder has returned home after a lovely 2 week visit with Karen and me. We travelled the state, doing shopping, seeing sights, and tasting delicious food. After the rain stopped, we actually fired up the INDIANS and enjoyed some casual travel along the country roads of NW Connecticut. Incredible!
Now I have an extra Mariner drum in my living room. I plan to return it to the firehouse one Tuesday before Westbrook.

Once again, Thanks to all the planners, the doers, and the Mariners who went above the call during this historic event. I love us.
